Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha - also popularly known as Gugu is a British stage actress and film actor. Her fame was boosted by starring in the BBC's 'Doctor Who,' a British science fiction television series. Gugu gained fame for her role as Tish Jones in the show on BBC. She was the sister to a main character who was named Martha Jones. Gugu's audiences loved her bright energy and spontaneity. There was no way back from Gugu's successful career in acting! She has also worked on a number of other British stage and television shows to the present. The critical acclaim she has received is for her outstanding performance in 'Belle' (2013) the British period drama as well as "Beyond the Lights" (2014) which is a romantic drama. Alongside her role in American films such as Tom Hankscomedy "Larry Crowne" and 'Larry Crowne', she has also was a regular on television shows such as "Undercover" and Touch'. Gugu was the lead character of Jessica Swale's 2015 play, "Nell Gwynn", as an actress and mistress to King Charles II. In the wake of receiving plenty of praise from the public for her outstanding acting abilities, she was nominated by Evening Standard Theatre Award. Gugu, in a gesture of appreciation for all her efforts in the realm of drama, was made an Member of the Order of the British Empire.
Chelsea Joy Handler was conceived on February 25, 1975 at Livingston New Jersey. She was the eldest child of three children in a big family. Handler grew up with a family of six children. Her mother worked at home, and her father was a dealer of used vehicles. Her mother emigrated from Germany to America. United States as a young woman in 1958. She had been diagnosed with breast carcinoma in 1989. Handler was raised in an Reform Judaism family. Her father was Jewish. Handler had a happy and healthy life living in a posh neighborhood. When she was 19 She moved from the city of Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in acting. Handler had to turn into an actress in order to survive. Handler aged 21 years of age, decided to focus on stand-up comics full time following her discovery of storytelling. Handler began her professional career joining the female-only Oxygen group, who featured in a tv show named Girls Behaving Badly. The series was famous for its hidden camera and humorous jokes. The show ran between 2002 and 2005. The host began to appear on different shows such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started her career as a correspondent for The Tonight Show. Handler got her most famous break in 2006, when she was named host on E! The show was titled Chelsea Handler. The Chelsea Handler Show ran for two years. Handler followed this up by performing on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour and in the United States. Her stand-up performances have been aired on VH1, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and HBO. Her name was chosen to host the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in the year 2010. Roseanne was the first female ever to host the VMAs.
